Our High School Thaddeans proudly celebrated Timor-Leste’s Restoration of Independence Day with deep respect, unity, and love for the nation.The celebration began with the solemn singing of the Timor-Leste National Anthem, a meaningful moment that reminded everyone of the courage, sacrifices, and hope that shaped the country’s independence. This was followed by a vibrant Timor-Leste Cultural Dance Competition, where our students showcased the beauty, rhythm, and richness of Timorese heritage.More than a celebration, this event reflected one of our HOPE Core Values: P – Patriotism. Through song, dance, and cultural expression, our learners were reminded to honor the nation, appreciate its history, and take pride in becoming responsible young citizens who contribute to its future.At SJTIS, we continue to nurture learners who value culture, respect national identity, and carry the spirit of patriotism with dignity and pride.Viva Timor-Leste!
